Why can't I save or open my email attachments in Outlook Express for Windows?
By default, Outlook Express disables saving or opening any attachments within your email. To disable this setting, within Outlook, go to Tools in your menu bar. Select options. Click the Security tab. Uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." Quit Outlook Express and re-launch. You will now be able to open/save attchments.
